Now you know why their called “The Flying Brick”
Today was the first day that Ellen and I set about the bike, she had said that she would like to do up an old car so I thought modifying the bike would be a good start. She has this obsession with old things!!!
I discovered that you could get a fuel and temp gauge as optional extras when it was new (1988). So I scoured the web and found all the bits to install them. Suffice to say all was well except I had to replace a bulb in the temp gauge. Whats the chance I’ll find one on a Sunday! Ha, Repco is the answer $1.50 later and all is well, who would have thought.
Anyway next week will be a fairly big trip so I’ll see how accurate the fuel gauge is.
I thought I’d take the pic next to the Landie, I’m lucky to own two vehicles that I’ve always wanted. And yes the iPhone 6 camera is really good.
My new ride, 88 K100RS showroom condition, now I just need some sunshine instead of the 100KM/H winds and rain that we have!
