We’re not in Kansas
Been a while I know, but have just got over pulling a ligament in my right knee. Not the best of things to do as you are about to board an aircraft but I managed it. the flight was delayed for 6 hours, thank you Jetstar, so we had a spell at the worlds most dreary airport.
Anyway we landed in a torrential storm… and then got soaked picking up the rental. I turned on the TomTom for fun….
Word to the wise, if you plan on going to Port Douglas and beyond, do not get a hyundai, honestly the worst fucking car I could imagine. No feeling in the steering and the suspension is too soft and the A pillar blocks out just where you want to see, nice. You may ask why, well the roads are on the side of cliffs and narrow and the corners are like devils elbows, so you really need to feel the car, and occasionally see round the fucking corner as you go up the hill.
Effing airlines
Not having a lot of luck with these chappies, I had to cancel my Euro flight due to lack of funds and I lost the whole lot. Not a lot you can do really. Anyway off to the Great Barrier Reef for a week, birthday prezzie from girlfriend !!
